You are a woman who has spent years trying to do everything “right” with your body and wellbeing, but somewhere along the way you became disconnected from how it actually feels to live inside it.

The constant pressure to look a certain way, eat a certain way, follow the “perfect” routine… is keeping your nervous system in a state of stress.

And when your body is in that state, it prioritises survival — not radiance.

Which is why you might recognise yourself here:

  • You feel puffy, inflamed, or disconnected from your body no matter how “healthy” you try to be
  • Your energy is inconsistent — you’re either pushing or crashing
  • Your mind is constantly thinking about food, routines, or control
  • Your body feels tense, stiff, or in subtle pain that never fully goes away
  • You look in the mirror and feel like something is missing… your glow, your spark

And the frustrating part is… you are trying.

But what you’ve been taught is actually keeping you stuck.

You’ve been taught to push harder when your body needs softness. To follow external rules instead of internal signals. To believe that one workout or one “healthy day” will fix what is actually happening across your entire lifestyle.

And most importantly — you’ve been taught to chase results instead of regulating the system that creates them.

Why this is happening?

You are not stuck because you lack discipline, knowledge, or willpower. You're doing the do and without realising it, some of the things you’re doing every day are reinforcing that loop.

Right now, you might be:

  • Pushing through workouts even when your body feels tired, heavy, or inflamed — because rest feels like “falling behind”
  • Following strict food rules during the week, then feeling mentally consumed by food thoughts when you can’t hold it anymore
  • Looking for the “right” diet, method, or routine that will finally make your body feel consistent and easy to live in
  • Checking your body, your weight, or how you look more often than you’d like to admit — trying to regain a sense of control
  • Ignoring subtle signals like fatigue, tension in your jaw, shallow breathing, or digestive discomfort because they don’t feel “serious enough”
  • Moving from one wellness phase to another (detox, reset, discipline, balance) but never actually feeling settled inside your body
  • Telling yourself you should be grateful and consistent… while quietly feeling disconnected, puffy, or not like yourself

And the deeper truth is this: None of these behaviours are random.

They are what happens when your body is operating in a low-grade state of stress and over-control. Because when your nervous system doesn’t feel safe, it will always try to regain control externally — through food, movement, perfection, or restriction.

But here’s the part that changes everything:

Control does not create regulation.
And discipline alone does not create results.

It often creates the opposite.

Which is why even when you’re “doing everything right”… your body still feels like it’s not responding the way you want it to.

Not because your body is broken. But because it’s overwhelmed.

Why I'm the right person to guide you...

My name is Karol De Souza, I've been practicing yoga for the past 22 years and teaching for 10. And I’ve struggled with my body image for as long as I can remember.

I grew up in Brazil, where restrictive dieting and intense workouts were normalised — praised, even — often disguised as discipline. So for a long time, I didn’t question it. I thought I was doing everything right.

At first, they were subtle. Cancelling plans because I didn’t want to “mess up” my diet. Ignoring a pulled hamstring because resting felt like failure. Replaying everything I ate in a day before going to sleep.

And then it got louder.

My period disappeared. My mind felt foggy. I was anxious if I wasn’t in control. My hair started thinning, my skin looked dull… and one day I looked at myself in the mirror and didn’t recognise who I was anymore.

I had chased this idea of perfection so hard… that I lost my spark completely.

That was over 10 years ago. And while I’ve done the deep healing work since then, life gave me another moment that brought everything back into focus.

After I had my son, I felt this pressure to bounce back — to be strong, successful, present, “on top of everything.” By month three, I was already back to intense movement, running my business, hosting retreats, taking care of my home and my baby.

And slowly… I felt it creeping back in.

The tight jaw. The constant rushing. The anxiety. Crying out of nowhere. That invisible pressure of not doing enough, not being enough. But this time, I recognised it.

Not as a lack of discipline but as a dysregulated nervous system.

So I did the opposite of what I had always done. I stopped pushing. I cancelled my gym membership. I stepped away from intensity. I focused on breathing, slowing down, gentle strength, awareness.

And little by little… my body came back to me. Not through force. But through connection.

What you actually need

Not more discipline. Not another reset. Not a stricter plan or a better version of control.

What you need is a way to come back into relationship with your body — so that your actions are guided by awareness instead of pressure.

Because right now, the missing piece isn’t effort… it’s connection.

You don’t need to do more. You need to learn how to:

  • Regulate your nervous system through your daily life, not just isolated “wellness moments” so your body is no longer operating in a constant state of stress and overdrive
  • Listen to your body’s signals without judgment or control so you can actually respond to what it needs instead of overriding it
  • Move in a way that builds strength and energy, not depletion so your body starts to feel safe, supported, and alive again
  • Release the mental grip around food, routine, and “doing it right” so your relationship with nourishment becomes simple again
  • Shift from managing your body to inhabiting it so you stop observing yourself from the outside and start feeling at home inside it

Because when your body feels safe, it stops living in protection mode.

And when it’s no longer in protection mode… it can finally restore what you’ve been trying to force all along: energy, clarity, digestion, strength, beauty and glow.

And this is exactly what I guide you through inside She Glows. A 21-day embodied journey that brings you back into connection with your body, your nervous system, and your natural rhythm.

The She Glows Method

1. Body Wisdom (Move in a way that heals, not harms)

We focus on how movement feels—not how it looks.

Through yoga, pilates, and breathwork, you’ll learn to:

  • Release tension stored in your body
  • Build strength without stress
  • Understand what your body actually needs each day

So that you can feel strong, flexible, and energized—without burnout.

2. Active Awareness (Regulate in real life, not just on the mat)

Because your nervous system is shaped by your entire day.

You’ll learn to:

  • Catch stress patterns in real time (jaw tension, rushing, shallow breath)
  • Shift from reactive → regulated
  • Move through your day with calm presence

So that you can stop living in constant tension and feel grounded again.

3. Nervous System Connection (Trust your body again)

No more food rules. No more confusion.

You’ll reconnect to:

  • Your natural hunger and fullness cues
  • What your body truly needs (not what trends tell you)
  • A sense of ease around food and nourishment

So that you can eat freely, feel satisfied, and stop the mental noise.
