Why I'm the right person to guide you...
Hi! My name is Karol De Souza, I am the face behind the She Rises Mastermind. And the reason why I know exactly where you're at right now is because I have been there myself. Different from the many coaches out there I have both hands on experience: In one hand I have a very successful yoga business hosting international retreats and traveling the world to teach since 2017 and on the other hand I come from a business background. That has allowed me this funky mix of yoga teacher and business coach.
Just as most of my clients and probably you too, I quit my corporate career to pursue my passion for teaching yoga. I soon realised that I was on the constant chase for money and a non-ending busy schedule of classes, but even worse, without getting paid holidays, sick leave and health insurance. When I first started leading retreats I realised that was my life calling and slowly stepped back from low paid classes in studios to dedicate myself to hosting life changing retreats that allowed me to have more time for myself and more financial security for my yoga business. This was specially important when I gave birth to my first son Leon. I still managed to get paid, take a whole month off in the summer to travel with my family and spend 3 months with my parents in my home island on the coast of Brazil.
And that's the least interesting thing about my life... what really blows my mind is to see my students inside the retreats changing their lives, quitting jobs, moving countries and falling in love with who they become inside my experiences. And my clients inside my coaching flourishing to become the leaders they're meant to be, selling out retreats, quitting in person classes that they've outgrown, and doing the work that deeply changes lives and the collective energy of world on a daily basis.
I like to think that, in a way, this is my contribution to make the world a better place, and that's my ultimate mission.
